Board Member Certification Seminar on Monday, Jan. 11th

The state of Florida requires that community association board members become certified by attending an approved course or submitting written certification information to the association secretary. One of the best and most convenient ways for board members to become certified is by attending one of our complimentary seminars. Our course has been approved by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to qualify for board member certification. This interactive course details the basic concepts of community association operations, including an overview of the budget and reserve process, membership and board meetings, election procedures, alternative dispute resolutions, vendor bids and contract negotiations, and it highlights some of the most recent changes in Florida community association laws. Attendees receive an official certificate of completion from our firm, and the course also qualifies for 2 hours of continuing education CAM credits for property managers.

Our next board member certification course presented by Roberto Blanch will take place on Monday, January 11, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Hotel Urbano in Brickell (2500 Brickell Avenue, Miami, FL 33129). Contact Stephanie Bonilla at (305) 442-8536 or send her an e-mail at sbonilla@srhl-law.com to register for the seminar. Space is limited to 50 participants. Registration will be granted on a first come, first serve basis.
