Amanda E. PrestonAssociate
Amanda Preston joined the Firm as a law clerk in 2015, and became an Associate in 2016. Her practice is focused on commercial and construction litigation, as well as community association law.
While in law school, Ms. Preston served as an Executive Editor for the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review. She was also a member of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board, where she competed twice and received an award for the second highest oralist score. She also competed in a dispute resolution competition which involved negotiation, mediation, and arbitration simulations. Ms. Preston also received a scholarship award for her performance in the Litigation Skills Program.
Additionally, Ms. Preston was an Intern for the Tenant’s Rights Project at Legal Services of Greater Miami, and a fellow for the Investor Right’s Clinic, a pro-bono clinic providing legal services to underrepresented investors.
Ms. Preston earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2016, and her Bachelor of Arts in political science, cum laude, from Hofstra University in 2012.
She is admitted to The Florida Bar.
