CORAL GABLES, Fla. (February 19, 2015) ---- Attorney Michael E. Chapnick of the Boca Raton-based law firm of Chapnick Community Association Law has joined the Coral Gables-based firm of Siegfried, Rivera, Hyman, Lerner, De La Torre, Mars & Sobel as a partner. He will be based at the firm’s West Palm Beach office, which has moved to a larger space at 1655 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd.

“Our firm’s community association practice has grown to become among the largest in Florida, and by bringing the Chapnick practice into the fold we are positioning our West Palm Beach office as one of the preeminent law practices for associations in that market as well as the Treasure Coast,” said founding partner Steven Siegfried. “Michael Chapnick has built a substantial practice focusing exclusively on condo associations and HOAs since he founded his firm in 2004, and his experience and reputation with associations in the Palm Beach market make him an invaluable addition.”

Michael Chapnick believes the move will enable the law firm’s West Palm Beach office to enjoy steady growth.

“I am extremely excited to be joining forces with Steven and his partners, associates and staff,” said Chapnick. “The Palm Beach County housing market is predominantly comprised of single-family home communities with associations as well as condo association communities, and the increased depth of experience and resources gained by my joining the firm will position us for growth in that market as well as in Martin and St. Lucie counties.”

With the addition of Chapnick, the law firm’s West Palm Beach office will now include four attorneys, all of whom focus on community association law.

Michael Chapnick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Maryland in 1989, and earned his Juris Doctor, with cum laude honors, from the Detroit College of Law in 1995. He is a member of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Community Association Institute and has served on the Gold Coast Chapter’s program committee and board of directors.

Founded in 1977, Siegfried, Rivera, Hyman, Lerner, De La Torre, Mars & Sobel, P.A. focuses on all aspects of community association matters, construction law, real estate, and corporate law. The firm maintains offices in Coral Gables, Plantation and West Palm Beach, Florida.
