John Catalano joined the firm in 2017 as a shareholder, focusing his practice on the representation of clients in all aspects of real estate transactions, with an emphasis on the acquisition, disposition, financing, development and leasing of real estate assets including retail shopping centers, office buildings, apartment buildings, hotels, restaurants, warehouse/industrial properties and mixed‐use properties. Mr. Catalano also has an active practice representing restaurant development groups.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Catalano was a founding member of Lehtinen Schultz, PLLC, serving as the head of the firm’s Real Estate and Hospitality group. In the past, he has also practiced with some of the largest law firms in the nation, such as Dickstein Shapiro LLP and Duane Morris LLP.
Mr. Catalano received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University and his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Tulane University School of Law. While in law school, he served as the Senior Editor of Tulane Law Review.
He is admitted to the Florida Bar, the Georgia Bar and the District of Columbia Bar.
