John Criste joined the Firm as a law clerk in 2014, and became an Associate in 2015. His practice is focused on commercial and construction litigation, and includes alternative dispute resolution such as arbitration and mediation.
In law school, John developed his oral advocacy and litigation skills. He was a member of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board, and successfully completed the Litigation Skills Program, which provides hands-on training for law students interested in pursuing a litigation practice.
Prior to law school, John was a competitive swimmer. He trained for the U.S. Olympic Swim Team trials three times and, as an undergraduate, was a member of the Stanford Men’s Swim Team, for which he still holds the school’s record for the fastest 100 yard breaststroke race.
John earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2015 and his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Stanford University in 2011.
